Maryann Child, BSN, MS HCM

MaryAnn Child has significant experience as a Nurse / Nurse Manager / Nurse Executive of Patient Care Services at Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS) in Long Beach, CA for over 35 years. Currently, she is a part-time lecturer at California State University, Long Beach for the Department of Nursing and teaches Healthcare Economics, Policy, and Information Management to Masters-level students in the Nurse Practitioner Program. Ms. Child is involved in outreach efforts to attract high school students into the field of nursing. She frequently provides students with information on scholarship opportunities and writes letters of references for them. Ms. Child received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA, and a Master of Science in Health Care Management (MS HCM) from California State University Los Angeles, CA (CSULA), Summa Cum Laude.

Donn Grizzle, BS, MBA
Mr. Donn M. Grizzle has over 25 years combined experience in CEO and Vice President positions in the banking and finance industry providing leadership in the operations, finance, lending, regulatory compliance, and general business of this industry. Within our local communities, Donn Grizzle has served on the Board of Governors for the California and Nevada Credit Union League Government Relations Committee and Orange County Chapter where he focused upon advocacy and financial education, was on the Board of Directors for the St Joseph Hospital, Orange, Foundation, and a member of the Children’s Hospital of Orange CU4Kids Advisory Board. Mr. Grizzle has a BS in Business Management from University of Phoenix and MBA from Pepperdine University, Graziadio School of Business, Presidents and Key Executives (PKE) MBA program.

Donna Soroczak, BSN, MSN
Donna Soroczak has 39 years experience as a Nurse / Nurse Manager. In 2009, after 32 years Ms. Soroczak retired from the VA Long Beach Healthcare Administration, Long Beach, CA where she held positions of Community Health Nurse Coordinator Supervisor, Mental Health Services and Chief Nurse Geriatric, Rehabilitation Medicine and Extended Care Healthcare Group. Ms. Soroczak serves the community as a Board Member of the VA Desert Pacific Federal Credit Union and Supervisory Committee, is a member of Nurses’ Organization of Veterans Affairs Semi-annual fund-raisers to provide funds for nursing scholarships, and the American Legion Post 496 Auxiliary providing support to Auxiliary activities. She also serves in a friendship group providing transport and socialization with other seniors for Bethany Lutheran Church. Ms. Soroczak received a Bachelor of Nursing from St. John College of Cleveland, OH and a Master of Nursing Administration (MSN) from California State University, Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA.

Heidi Bair
Heidi Bair is the Chairman of the Board of Transformations of Love, a nonprofit organization that will be dedicated to long-term care for profoundly disabled children and adults. Her unique experience in the special needs department of the Garden Grove Unified School district has given her hands-on experience with individuals aged 3-22 with disabilities ranging from “mild-moderate” to “profoundly medically fragile”. She graduated high school from Lewiston High School in Lewiston, Idaho and went on to study at Prairie Bible College, New Tribes Bible Institute and Orange Coast College. With the launching of Transformations of Love as the target, she has studied kinesiology, psychology, genetics, diet and nutrition, animal husbandry, aquaponics, aeroponics, organic farming methods, therapy and service dog training, American Sign Language and herbal medicine. All of these pursuits relate to the goal of providing life-long care to the profoundly disabled in a ranch-style setting.  Heidi is also Secretary of the Board of the Tracy Otte Love My Kids Foundation, a scholarship foundation upon which the Desert Pacific Foundation was modeled.

Shannon N Workman
Shannon Workman is an entrepreneur and executive with over 30 years of experience within the Financial Services Industry, especially in the Credit Union arena while performing various positions with a commitment to Member Satisfaction and Service Excellence. These positions include President/CEO, Executive Director, Financial Education Programs, VP, Business Development, VP, Lending and Staff Development, Lending Development Manager, Training & Development Manager, Consumer Loan Manager, Supervisor, Coordinator, Officer and Assistant. Ms. Workman serves the community as a Board Member and co-founder of the Southern California Credit Union Alliance (SCCUA). Previously, she has served in the Lutheran Community as Co-Chair, Committee Member of Inter-Lutheran Emergency Response Time (I-LERT), a Committee Member of the Lutheran Executives Committee, Council Member of the Mission Start-Up LCMS Church Edgewater Lutheran and Board Member of the New City Life Foundation.
